The 7th Battalion line Infantry is a re-enactment/living history association that portray a Belgium-Dutch infantry unit from the era 1814-1815. This battalion was part of the ‘van Bylandt’ brigade and was involved in the heavy battles during the Waterloo campaign. These troops fought at Quatre-Bras (June 16 1815) as well at Waterloo (June 18 1815) The goal of the association is to unite those who share a passion for the military life, in all her aspects, of the 3rd company of the 7th Battalion Line Infantry. The members take on the roles of privates, non commissioned officers, officers and the camp followers to great a complete as possible portrayal. In edition to the battles, the exercises and camp life are also depicted in all her facets.
Het 7e Bataljon Infanterie van Linie is een re-enactment/living history-vereniging die een Belgisch-Nederlandse infanterie-eenheid uitbeeldt van de periode 1814-1815. Dit bataljon was een onderdeel van de Brigade ‘van Bylandt’ en was betrokken in de zware gevechten tijdens de Waterloo-campagne. Deze troepen vochten zowel bij Quatre-Bras (16 juni 1815) als bij Waterloo (18 juni 1815). De vereniging heeft als doel mensen te verenigen die een passie delen voor het militaire leven, in al haar aspecten, van de derde compagnie van het 7de Bataljon Infanterie van Linie. De leden nemen de rol op van soldaten, onderofficieren, officieren en kampvolg(st)ers om het beeld zo compleet mogelijk te maken. Naast de veldslagen worden ook de exercities en het kampleven in al haar facetten uitgebeeld.
